The black portion appears to be made of plastic. The price for this item is set at 12.60 and tax will be added to the final purchase. The wooden part seems authentic and the metal component appears to be of good quality. The desk clock/executive toy features a unique design, with circular shapes inside one another. While I do not know the official name for this design, it certainly catches the eye. I understand that spending over 20 dollars on an item like this may not be desirable, so I'm willing to keep the price low. While there might be some small nicks or scratches due to previous use, the overall appearance is still great. While I considered adding a battery and including it in the price, I opted against this due to cost concerns. Any additional costs will come from shipping, which will be calculated based on your location. The item has been tested with a fresh battery and works perfectly. Please note that international shipping is available upon request, but may be expensive. Please note that a battery is needed to power this item and is not included in the purchase.

“Other than wiping the finger prints off this, it's just the way I found it. Needs a battery to work as a clock. Tested, does work with battery, but did not want to add the price of a battery to it. They're 8 dollars plus tax, or 8.78, so if you'd rather it have a a battery in it when you get it, let me know, I'll get one in it, but be prepared to pay the extra ... call it ten bucks for the battery and my time... lol no pun intended.”
