Product Description The original oval diamond sharpening steel, the state-of-the-art Ultimate Edge Diamond Sharpening Steel is made of microcrystalline diamonds bonded with nickel to a lightweight oval steel shaft.  Designed to both sharpen and realign a knife’s edge, thus keeping it's original hi-grade cutting edge razor sharp. This standard (600 grit) model is ideal for every style of knife where the blade edge angle is from 15 to 20 degrees.  With a shaft that has been narrowed by 1/4", it fits most standard knife blocks. Features The original oval diamond sharpening steel 10" x 1/2 " oval shaft (plus handle) 600 grit diamond mesh effective for most standard (western-style) edge knives Realigns knife edge and keeps it razor sharp Fits most standard knifeblocks Requires no messy oil or water Works with serrated knives; also files glass, crystal and china Made in America The Proper Moose sku# UE00010N00
