Dictaphone Voice Processor Up for auction is a used Dictaphone Voice Processor that is in good physical condition. There are a couple scuff marks on the casing, but it is otherwise undamaged. For more information on the cosmetic condition please refer to the pictures below. Model No.: 2710 P/N: 860059 It powers on with no problems and a red light comes on indicating power. Using a cassette tape I have, I was able to play, fast forward, rewind, stop, change tone, change volume, and erase audio sections with the erase button. The audio from the built in speakers is loud and clear as well as the audio from the attached speaker on the remote. All buttons on the main unit and the remote are in good condition with no damage and solid tactile response. The display kept track of the play time correctly and is also in good condition. The only features that I couldn't get to work were the "speed" function and recording. The speed never seemed to affect the tape when in use, but I could just be using it wrong. The machine beeped at me every time I tried to record and I'm not sure why. After testing I am confident in saying that everything, but the speed bar and recording is in full working condition, but since I can't verify the two functions the item will be sold as is.
