Harris Lanier P-128 Dictation Machine With Foot Pedal Up for bid is a vintage Harris lanier P-128 dictation machine.  I am the original owner.  The machine is in good condition with NO scratches, dents, chips, cracks, gouges.  The plastic on the top of the machine and the microphone has yellowed with time but that is the only cosmetic issue.  Power cords are intact as is the coiled microphone cord.  I checked the unit today (11/5/14) and it is fully operational.  It records, plays back, rewinds, and does fast forward.  The foot pedal works as well.  The unit comes with a detachable microphone holder and a LANIER tape erasing block.  The unit uses microcassettes.  The item is sold AS IS NO RETURN .  I ship to the CONUS only.  Shipping will be paid by the buyer. BONUS! BONUS! BONUS! I am including a SECOND identical machine FREE OF CHARGE!  Why am I doing this???  The second machine is not fully functional.  It will rewind but will not move in the record or playback mode.  I suspect there is something in the capstan mechanism that must be repaired.  You would need to take it to a technician.  At the least, it could serve as a source of spare parts for the first fully functional machine. This is a very good deal for someone who needs a dictation machine and does not want to invest a large sum of cash! Feel free to email any questions.
