For sale is a classic coffee roaster and afterburner equipment I have used since 2012. This roaster is very easy to operate and control . I am second owner. Used to be in San Luis Obispo at Coffee Connection since it was new in 1990. Roaster is a 1990 Diedrich IR 24 kilo infrared full manual machine. Drum Infrared burners new in 1999. Roaster needs 115 volt . I bought roaster and afterburner in 2012 . Replaced drum bearings (2) , replaced electric motor to drum sprockets (2) , replaced cooling tray motor shaft seals and lube oil in 2013. Also replaced transformer 115v-12v. 25-30 lbs. of green beans roasts very consisstant . Roaster built in Orange co. Ca. when Diedrich was in Orange Co.. Diedrich Roasters are the American Cadillac Of the coffee roasting . Powder coated green and brown with red pinstriping. Afterburner is a Diedrich C 45 open flame built in Sandpoint ,Idaho. ser. # 1073 Runs about $ 4.00 per hour to operate. Unit operates off of 240 volt 5 amp 60 single phase .min 40,000 btu and max 1,200,000 btu. and unit requires a 5 psi gas service. at Digital display programmable temp . needs to be 1100 deg. F to opereate and meet air quality specs. A eclipse burner seviced by a business in San Diego in January 2014 . New PID controller installed in 2014. Afterburner stack removed lid removed . Replaced 4" insulation top half of unit and re insulated lid. has 14" double wall insulated SELKIRK grease ducting enough pipe to go through a 20' ceiling to exhaust out. New top flame temp thermocoupler and flame igniter new too. also have extra 8" selkirk piping for a 12-24 kilo if afterburner is not recomended . If you have been in the coffee industry for a few years and dream of roasting coffee this is your chance to buy it at a bargan. Included in sale is a bag sealer for foil gusseted , one lb. and 5 lb. black gas valve coffee bags. digital counter scale for bag filling. scoop and hopper to fill bags. Stainless tables (2) ,chrome (1) wire shelves on wheels. floor mats (3) , shop vac for chaff , Modern Process industrial grinder GPX 5 lbs. per min. Grinder has newly sharpend mill plates done by Modern Process in Chicago. I have two dull blades that have one more sharpen on them. 500 lb. per hour . Many extras. One 12 cup air pot Bunn 120 V no water disp. Roaster drum bearings (2) replaced. Drum chain drive sprockets replaced. Cooling tray motor seals replaced , lubrication oil renewed . Spare Infrared burner included. Afterburner has 14" Selkirk piping through roof. Afterburner insulation replaced internally last year. New PID controller installed and programmed . Gas and electrical installed by certified contractors. Property is in a manufacturing zone. I have done all the work for you. Shop does not include contracts . New owner must have a background check with owners of building . Great people. I can help you get set up and operate this awesome equipment. Runs great. 25-30 lbs. per batch very consistent. But can 2-55 lbs. per batch or 220 lbs. per hour.
