The beautiful optic pictured was inside a large Laser setup that I obtained from a local R&D lab. I am not an expert on this particular item. All I really know is that these are diffraction gratings. They look like they have a Gold-ish in color, to a yellow-ish-Orange color. I was told that " Gratings like these are typically gold coated for work in the near infrared (700-1600 nm), and are sometimes also made with zerodur substrates, which can have a yellow/orange color as well."
