Digi International XBEE-PRO S2C Transceiver Systems. This auction is for two Digi International XBEE-PRO S2C transceiver systems. The motherboards are 10 years old, but the transceiver modules are brand new. They have been programmed to communicate with each other at a baud rate of 9600 and tested. To reprogram these units download a software program called XCTU from Digi Intl. The program runs on Windows,Mac, or Linux. The power of each unit is set to low and needs to be adjusted up for long distance. The parameter is PL. The baud rate can be adjusted to 250,000 baud, but I never used them with a baud rate over 115,200. The units have a DB-9 connector using RS-232 serial that can be connected to a USB interface cable. This is how I used them. Using the DB-9 connectors, the units can be connected to any microprocessor or computer system. These units have a range of 4000 ft when power is set to high. The power supply can be anything from 5V to 12V with a barrel 5.5mm x 2.5mm connector. I will be sending two 5V@3A power supplies as well even though the units run on only a few hundred milliamps. The boxes are made of poly-carbonate and are water resistant, but are not watertight because of the external connectors. However, they could be made watertight by sealing the connectors with the proper sealant. The bottom of each unit has four rubber feet, but the boxes have mounting holes and could be attached to a wall. These holes are sealed from the interior of the cases. I will include the User Guide and the Getting Started Guide. These are the latest versions. I do not accept returns unless unit comes damaged. Buyer pays shipping.
