Contact the seller through eBay message for any enquiries or questions. This digital ESR meter is perfect for testing electrolytic capacitors without the need to remove them from the circuit. With the ability to automatically correct probe resistance set to zero and automatic gain correction, this meter offers a range of 0.01-30R with an accuracy of В±1% + 1 digit. The test signal is a square pulse with a frequency of 100 KHz and 400V DC protection. The power drain is only 80mw, and it comes with a battery-operated power source. Notes and instructions for use include making sure to cut off the circuit board power before taking measurements and discharge the capacitor for safety purposes. The method of adjustment involves shorting the tweezers or clip and pressing the short function key to adjust to zero, followed by magnification adjusting to 15 ohm resistor and correcting the gain. The meter comes with test leads, a 15 ohm resistance, and is powered by two AA batteries.
