Digital Instruments Atomic Force Microscope Sound Proof Laboratory Acoustic Enclosure Pretty neat enclosure that should work for many applications that need to be isolated from noise or noise-related vibrations. Nice, heavy hinge and pneumatic cylinders to hold the door open. Convenient handles on both sides for easy maneuvering. Insulation is in great shape. Very nice, lightly used condition. This is currently sitting on a 3' x 4' optical table, but the optical table is not included in this sale. Just the acoustic enclosure. The outside measurements are 37-1/4" wide x 35-1/4" deep x 26-1/2" tall. The front vertical section is 9-1/2" tall and the horizontal section on the top measures 18-1/4" from the back edge to the hinge of the door. The walls are 1" thick plus 1-1/2" of insulation (total of 2-1/2" thick), so the inside measurements are 32-1/4" wide x 30-1/4" deep x 24" tall. The door itself measures about 22-5/8" x 36-3/4".
