Easy to use and durable, this optical instrument features an ergonomic keypad, large display and scope illuminator for access to powerful measurement capabilities and exceptional viewing quality even in low light conditions. Accuracy The NE-101 with 7-second accuracy enables a number of positioning techniques, such as 90-degree layout, checking angles, alignment and plumb, short-range grade work and leveling. This electronic theodolite features superior Nikon telescope with 30x magnification, providing a clear view of the target and delivers precise vertical and horizontal angle measurements. It also has a built-in optical plummet and detachable tribrach for fast and convenient setup. Display and keypad Large keys provide one-button operation and the bright text display makes information easy to read and use on the job. Featuring five one-touch keys - four to perform all common functions and a fifth to control the backlit LCD display and reticle illumination, this Nikon theodolite allows you to instantly convert vertical angles to percent of grade, reset the horizontal angle to zero and lock the horizontal angle displayed on the LCD while repositioning or repeating a measurement. Performance in Low Light Built-in reticle illuminator and backlit LCD display enable construction professionals to work inside buildings as well as in tunnels, mines, and other environments with little or no light. These features also allow you to keep working outside even in low-light conditions, such as near dawn or dusk during short days of winter.                   Reliable in Tough Conditions The Nikon NE-101 has an IP54 rating, meaning water can splash on this survey instrument from any direction with no harmful effects.
