Dimension Industries CMC 400 Continuous Motion Cartoner This eBay auction features a Dimension Industries (now Douglas) CMC 400 (high speed continuous motion cartoner). A compact, high-speed cartoner suitable for use with pharmaceutical, medical, and personal-care products. Model 400 can operate at speeds up to 400 cartons per minute. Features include servo-driven flap tucking, quiet timing belt operation, easy tool-free changeover, small footprint, digital controls, and a touch-screen operator interface panel. Automated product handling and infeeds, literature and coupon placers, and equipment for inspection, monitoring, and verifying can be added to the system. As you will note in the attached photos the last configuration application for this cartoner was to produce cello tape refil cartons. However further to the emails we’ve received from prospective eBay buyers seeking pharmaceutical or cosmetics product cartoners, we have spoken with field service representatives of the manufacturer. They maintain all the original build drawings for this unit as well as all the original PLC programs. They can quote installation, configuration/reconfiguration and training directly for additional cost. Why spend $600,000? Buy here and save … a lot! We will custom crate, at additional cost, for any international buyers that require complete preparation for transport.
