Divinycell H160 and HP160 core material have a density of 160 kg/cu-m (10 lb/cu-ft).   Both materials are said to offer good mechanical properties and excellent adhesion and peel strength with all resin systems. According to the company, it has good strength and modulus properties, low water absorption and is resistant to attack from styrene and other solvents. It also features a small cell size to minimize resin usage and can be processed at up to 90°C/194°F with minimal dimensional. This is the same material manufacturer found in some of the fastest high end performance cars and boats in the world !! This structural polymer foam is THERMO-FORMBLE. Heat the core material with heat gun on low, bend or twist into deesired shape or slope and let cool. it will keep the shape you apply to it. Apply laminate material and matrix The greater the core thickness the more stiffness is improved (fewer fabric layers to achive desired effect) while weight is reduced; all laminates are of equal strength. One (1) piece of Divnycell H160 foam with dimensions of 1"x 5.0" x 13.0" Offering as a remnant to those that might like to try the material, experiment, etc.
