It is made of brass for resistance to corrosion, with a 1/4" female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connection for connecting to a male hose fitting and a 1/4" coupler. It has a maximum pressure rating of 300 pounds per square inch (psi) and a temperature range of -40 to +250 degrees F. This Industrial/Milton or M-style (MIL-C-4109F/A-A-59439) coupler socket interchanges with a wide variety of plugs or tools. This quick-connect coupler socket is suitable for use with compressed air systems.
