If you have bought or built one of the open source solid-state lasers then you need this zipped file of data.   The file includes a Word document with laser notes I created while I was setting up my engraver.  These notes detail how to make people's names and convert DXF files to G-codes.  The zipped file also includes .STL files to 3D print your own adjustable feet and edge locator for repeatable engraver (assuming your laser engraver uses the 20mm x 40mm aluminum extrusions). The zipped file also includes a "CNC Mod" Windows program to mirror, convert, scale, and modify G Code - particularly for laser engravers running GRBL but it works with Mach 3/4 and LinuxCNC G Codes as well. *** JUST ADDED *** GRBL Serial Number Generator - a custom Windows program that allows serial numbers to be laser etched into a series of parts.  These numbers and spacing can be adjusted and after every marking, the number is automatically indexed.  The program even allows you to serial a series of parts at the same time with the same part number. There are also four directories of laser engraving GRBL G code files with common feed speeds, over 150 common names, six common geometric shapes and more than a dozen miscellaneous graphics. I will email you the zipped file as soon as it is complete (after I make sure your name is in the common names directory).
