DLEDW-500EM WET LOCATION LED EXIT SIGN WITH BATTERY BACK-UP DLEDW-500EM series feature an enclosure resistant to corrosive atmosphere, non-hazardous dust environments and to water spray, splash or where hose downs frequently occur. Wet location exit signs are necessities in locations that require the signage to be climate proof, heavy duty, tight gasket NEMA-4 rated enclosure. The sealed tight enclosure protects the exit sign’s components and electrical connections from outside hazardous elements. - - With battery back-up for 90 minutes emergency operation - 120V/277V AC, 60Hz dual voltage input - Low operating costs - Meets all NFPA Life Safety 101, NEC, OSHA, and local and states codes - 6” red or green letters - AC lockout feature prevents battery drain prior to initial energizing of utility power - Directional Indicators - Indicator light on housing signals AC utility present - Power failure protection circuitry automatically switches unit into emergency mode - White face with light gray trims - Wet location 0 to 40° C - One year full warranty - UL listed for wet location - UL/cUL listed OPERATION: The exit sign is continuously illuminated by normal AC power. Whenever normal AC power fails, the internal solid state transfer switch automatically connects internal battery to the LED lamps inside the exit sign to keep it continuously lit for 90 minutes. When AC power is restored, the battery is recharged by the onboard solid state recharger and is accomplished within 12 hours.
