8 piece Dorian Indexing Lathe Tool Post and Holder set. Part numbers were taken from current Dorian website and may not match exactly with original part numbers since Dorian seems to have changed some numbers. Model numbers with "N" in them apparently stood for the "New" numbering system and any tooling that is Dorian 40 size should fit the toolpost whether it has an "N" in the name or not. The cutoff blade holder has 771 stamped on it, but it has a 1.25" opening in it so it should be able to take a large 32 size blade like the 71S holders. Well maintained, one owner, high quality, high precision, heavy duty Quadra Tool Post. They are in very good shape, including all critical surfaces. The 5C holder has a small dent in the front top corner shown in the picture which is most likely a manufacturing defect because the original black finish is not rubbed off in the dent. The 5C knurled knob has some of the knurling deformed from using tools other than a straight bar to tighten or loosen the collet. The T-nut is machined for a Haas TL2 and the picture showing the T-nut also shows the anti-rotation pins installed in the base that can be removed if you do not have a TL2 type platform. These are being advertised locally and subject to prior sale. US shipping only via FedEx Ground. NOTE: The Quadra is capable of holding 4 QITP type toolholders, but it will only hold 2 of the D40CA type holders at a time because the D40CA type do not have the bevel on the corners like the QITP holders do. However, if you already have some CA size holders, you can modify them to mount 4 at a time by machining the bevel at the corners.
