Here is my double clothes dryer cord extension cord. It allows you a little more reach to get power from a 3 prong receptacle for a machine. Use on welders, plasma cutters, air compressor, electric vehicle clothes dryers. The cord is 4 feet long, it is a "10 gauge" cord. Pictures 1 and 2 are of the actual item. Picture 2 shows the cord plugging into its self. Picture 3 shows optional surge protection, The cord is only intended for indoor use in dry locations. Always cut power to the circuit and verify (by trying to turn the machine on) that power is actually off before plugging in or unplugging any 240 volt connection. If you want to plug 2 machine into a clothes dryer outlet, because that's all you have and you flip your 30 amp clothes dryer breaker absolutely under no circumstances should you remove the 30 amp clothes dryer breaker and install a higher amp breaker. The circuit breaker is there to protect the wiring inside the walls. If running 2 machines is flipping the breaker, that's because clothes dryer circuits are intended to be dedicated circuits, Only one machine is intended to run at a time. Clothes dryer circuits are nothing like normal 120 volt circuits where you can have a bunch of receptacles on one breaker and power a bunch of devices all at the same time. A clothes dryer circuit is on a 30 amp breaker and the clothes dryer regularly draws up to 27 amps, continuously. So don't expect to be able to run 2 machines at the same time at all. If you plug a clothes dryer into one receptacle, make sure the door on the clothes dryer is open (ensures it is turned off) before turning on the other machine. Then turn your other machine off or unplug it before using the clothes dryer. You need to unplugging the other machine before all together before using the clothes dryer again. I offer optional Surge protection for $5: Transformer based welding machines are very rugged and not much kills them, power surges really don't effect them. They could be struck by lightning and will likely still work fine, but turning on the welding machine and starting and breaking electrical arc creates power surges that effect everything else plugged into your service drop. Since the welding machine runs line to line power it is effectively on the same circuit as everything in your house. Also if you have a more expensive solid state inverter type welding machine or plasma cutter, they don't create power surges as bad but they are susceptible to being damaged by a power surge. My line of welding surge protector cords can help protect the expensive control boards and solid state power switching devices found in more advanced machines or protect other devices in your home. I installed this exact same power surge protection set up in side of all my machines, so I know it works. Now I offer a cord version of it. I can add the $5 for the surge protector in the invoice, just request an invoice after purchase and message me that you want the surge protection added. Use "buy it now", complete checkout and pay for your item before Noon MST your purchase will go out on the same day. If not, it will go out the next day the post office is open. Need a custom adaptor? Need this cord to be longer? Message me for a quote. Add $2.50 a foot for each additional foot (limit is 40 feet max overall length). Free shipping is to US locations only. I can ship world wide, message me for a quote before bidding. If you are in Canada I expect shipping to run an addtional $30 to $59. Flat rate express starts at $50, to get your cord over night to the east coast or delivered on sunday that can more than triple the base express price. That's the bad news, the good news is I will refund any overage for shipping and if USPS does not deliver your express package when they say they will let me know and I should be able to get the shipping refunded and returned to you.
