I have a HUNDER FRT 1000 Tracking System, Locator, Transmitter. They are all new in the Box Never Opened and everything they came with is in working condition. I opened one of them for Pitchers. I bought these at a Fire depts. Auction if you have any questing just send a message. The device is activated by pulling the yellow on/off key on the backside, "stand by mode." As soon as a colleague of the crew does not move for a short amount of time, his device will send out an audible alarm signal and will switch automatically from "stand by mode" into "transmit mode" (auto transmit). This feature is made possible by an integrated motion sensor. The other crew members will take their Draeger FRT 1000 out of the pouch and switch manually from "stand by mode" into "fire fighter search mode". The digital display shows distance to the missing colleague in meters. The number decreases if they move closer towards the victim. In case of many missing fire fighters, the Draeger FRT 1000 isolates the strongest signal - and thus the closest victim - within a 10 M range. This way, you can find missing colleagues one after the other. This application of "buddy rescue" is the main purpose of the FRT 1000. Moreover, every fire fighter who has lost orientation can find his way back to the crew as long as he still has enough air supply left. This application - known as "self rescue" - requires the disoriented colleague to switch into "fire fighter search mode" and accordingly to ask his colleague by radio to switch over to "transmit mode".
