With dual channel capability, this split mount system is a step change in spectral efficiency, capacity, nodal intelligence and operational simplicity. Unit supports 2 to 4 Gbps capacity with Dragonwave's bandwidth accelerator. 8 GbE ports with intelligent nodal ring and mesh switching for carrier-grade reliability. Device uses advanced security with integrated 256-bit AES encryption. Narrative Horizon Quantum builds on the previous generation Horizon Duo, which delivers industry leading capacity of 1.6 Gbps per link. Horizon Quantum adds to this staple by offering a Bandwidth Accelerator feature, delivering up to 4 Gbps per link or 8 Gbps per ring, rivaling the capacity of a fiber-based solution without the huge construction costs for building out fiber laterals. Horizon Quantum also delivers several other technical and operational advantages. The use of XPIC minimizes spectrum utilization. Hitless Automatic Adaptive Modulation (AAM) delivers high capacity on longer links without the need for larger antennas, thus reducing antenna lease costs. For the most challenging links, space and frequency diversity can be used to achieve the required availability. All of this is done without using any more spectrum than the previous generation product, resulting in spectral efficiency that is up to 2.5X better than any other solution available on the market.
