This is a single, full length, wire gauge size 'letter D' (.246"), Warrior brand, high speed steel, titanium nitride coated drill bit for drilling wood or metal. The titanium nitride coating greatly reduces sliding friction along the side of the bits as they drill for around a 75% faster rate of penetration over standard HSS bits. As always, the items I sell are items that I use, and that I find to be of particular value. These drill bits come in every standard size and are the only bits I bother stocking. They take new edges easily, and hold edges as long as any other coated HSS bits on the market. SAE/American sizes come in increments of 1/64" from 1/16" - 1/2" and gauged sizes from 1-60 and A-Z are also available, and at prices at or below the cheapest cut rate bits you'll find anywhere. They cut cleanly and accurately without heat expansion giving you proper diameter size every time. My only word of advice for their use, is that if you are putting them in a drill press for working iron, be sure to use a lubricant oil, as should always be the practice. They, like any other bit, are prone to breaking and dulling in iron if no lubricant is present, and when I get a complaint about them, this is almost always the cause. With a little oil they cut like butter, the way a good TiN bit should. Best offer feature is primarily intended for customers to suggest combined shipping discounts.
