Dumore No. 5 Tool Post grinder for 9" to 20" swing lathes.   Compatible with Series 57 systems.Model 8010-210 1/2 HP universal motor, which can run on DC or AC up to 120V.    Motor armature and stator are wound so motor will always spin the same direction,  independent of the polarity of the applied voltage.   (I have tried 24V DC and 120V AC) This 15,500 RPM motor, with large and small pulleys, can turn the spindle from 4600 RPM to 42,500 RPM. Complete working system in good condition.   No missing parts.    Good information can be found on the Dumore factory web site, including an electronic copy of a modern Operating Instructions, which is still useful for this older system.     Notes on this grinding system: The  spindle is a Type "B", with 3/8" output shaft for mounting grind wheels.  Bearings are good, and bottle of spindle oil is included.  Two new Dumore grind wheels (4", 5") are included.  These are 1/2" ID wheels, with a sleeve added to allow use on 3/8" shafts.   I've bench run this system extensively, but have not tried grinding with it. Full set of pulleys and near new belts included.   I added the AC  socket and switch box shown in the pictures, as the cord switch is sticky some times.   The motor filter retainer is missing a piece.  I used some wire to hold the filters.  Extra filter felt included.  High quality copy of a similar (but not exact vintage) owners manual, printed on heavy weight paper and spiral bound. Includes large Dumore metal storage box.     Shipping by FedEx ground.   $50 covers most locations in the USA.   If you are closer and shipping costs less, I'll refund the difference.
