An extremely rare opportunity to own a piece of Los Angeles restaurant architectural history. Likely the only one in existence - one of the original letter "D" from the historic Dupar's Restaurant sign on Wilshire Boulevard, in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles.  Closed and demolished in the late 1980's, the historic restaurant located at 5601 Wilshire Boulevard was for many years a favorite of local Angelenos.  Famous for their pies, buttermilk pancakes - this was among the last of the great 1930's coffee shops in Los Angeles.  I personally acquired the sign driving by when I saw the wreckage of the building - and have had it all these years.  A work of art - a piece of history - and a reminder of a great Los Angeles landmark.  If you look at the exterior photo of the restaurant, the "D" is plainly visible just above the entrance to the restaurant.  For a lover of Los Angeles history; this is it.  Hang it on the wall as a piece of art - a true original.
