This high-quality door is designed for easy operation and low maintenance. The support brackets have shielded steel radial bearings on both sides, and the DURO tension bracket allows for safe, quick, inexpensive, and unlimited adjustments. The WeatherX coating system used by DURO doors provides remarkable color and gloss retention and superior chalk resistance. It ensures that DURO doors can withstand harsh conditions during manufacturing, transit, and installation, minimizing cracking. The door's curtain features a 26-gauge galvanized steel grade E hard steel and 5/8" ribbed corrugation. There are many latch options available, and all latches accept double locks and 7/16" shackles. For proper exterior door installation, a 1 1/2" deep rain lip must be formed in the concrete slab extending a minimum of 3 1/2" from the interior face of the jamb. The bottom bar consists of a 6063-T6 aluminum extrusion with 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" galvanized angles and a replaceable bulb astragal.
