S/N 733094 Metallux One is the materials science/metallurgical version of the famous Ortholux One family.  It is only for incident light work (no in-base lighting) so it is the perfect mate for your TL Ortholux One to have interchangeability of parts and complete your collection.  Dedicate this one for your incident light work...add the world-famous Ultrapak system for darkfield work on opaque samples. This instrument includes the rare Zernike designed incident phase contrast kit for reflected light work.  Optics are 45mm ML and marked PHACO.  Lenses are infinity corrected and only for use on polished samples that are plano parallel to the optical axis.....i.e., it is not intended to be used for irregular surfaces on 3D samples.   Use it for low contrast ore samples, polished metal samples (prepared in mounts) or machined surfaces.  Phase contrast will reveal details that you will not see in coaxial brightfield.   This is a coaxial lighting method.  Lighting is not included but I will include the Leitz made adapter for the upper lamp port to accept lamp #30.  Alternatively, you can adapt this for LED, fiber optic illumination or high intensity arc lamps easily found on ebay. Optical set is PHACO 8x, 20x and 50x.  Oculars GF 10x adjustable and body tube is trinocular FS.  Adapt easily to your DSLR camera or small format c-mount camera.
