V & P Scientific Inc. makes stir devices that create a powerful vortex and the centrifugal forces are strong enough to keep magnetic beads suspended. This control unit has been turned on and tested and works just fine it does have minor cosmetic wear and tear from prior use but still in working order and ready to go.
