Once connected you can use the Edge Wireless up to 150 (30 meters) away from the computer. The Edge Wireless Receiver does need to be powered to work, so it comes with an outlet adapter to plug in the supplied 15' USB power cable. The power cable can also be used to connect the Wireless Unit if using the USB Dongle is a problem. You can also purchase the eBeam Edge Battery Pack and completely eliminate the need for the receiver to be plugged in. When connected to your computer Edge allows you to run your computer and any program on it from the projected, monitor or TV surface. It turns the surface into a "touch screen" by using the supplied pen/stylus. DON'T Buy an expensive Touch Screen TV that is locked in place and inflexible. Get eBeam Edge and take it virtually anywhere.
