Several Eberline gas proportional alpha, beta, gamma probes and Ludlum scintillation probe Mylar window accessories, including: (1) Qnty 2, Eberline AC-23 gas proportional hand held alpha, beta, gamma, detectors, each overall size 7 inches by 11.5 inches. Each probe active area 330 sq. cm., open area 250 sq. cm. Probes have thin 0.8 mg/cm2 Mylar window. Probes can be gas charged via self sealing connectors, or operated flow through mode. Normal operation is to charge probe volume with P10 or propane gas, flushing air out of probe volume. Probe flow female connectors (in and out) are self sealing after male gas connector disconnected. (2) Calibration source holder that fits under above Eberline AC-23 gas proportional probes. Lucite holder accommodates either 1 inch or 2 inch diameter sources. (3) Qnty 2, Eberline gas flow alpha, beta, gamma probes. Each probe is 2 inches wide by 9 inches long, active area 75 sq. cm, open area 56 sq. cm., with 0.8 mg/cm2 Mylar window. Probes use P10 or propane gas, and are operated in low, few cc/minute flow mode. (4) Tritium gas flow proportional probe, size 8.5 inches by 3.5 inches. This is a low energy beta, tritium, no window gas flow probe. Uses P10 or propane gas flow through probe via probe seal to flat surface being surveyed. Probe seal to surface allows gas flow through windowless probe. (5) Propane gas regulator. Used in conjunction with typical propane small portable cylinders. Regulator reduces pressure and outlet needle valve adjusts flow. (6) Eberline Model TP-1 tritium probe, this is windowless gas flow probe, that when pressed-sealed against flat surface allows P10 or propane gas flow through probe to measure low energy beta radiation. Probe diameter 3.5 inches. Included is second spare handle. (7) Qnty 2, new Ludlum 0.8 mg/cm2 Mylar windows for Ludlum Model 43-68 alpha, beta, gamma gas proportional probes. (8) Qnty 1, new Ludlum 1.2 mg/cm2 Mylar windows for Ludlum Model 43-68 alpha, beta, gamma gas proportional probes. (9) Qnty 2, new Ludlum 0.8 mg/cm2 Mylar window for Ludlum Model 43-5 alpha scintillation probe. (10) Qnty 3, 0.8 mg/cm2 Mylar faces, 6.25 x 2.5 inches for Eberline AC-3 scintillation probe. (11) Roll of Ludlum 0.4 mg/cm2 aluminized Mylar, total 6 sq. ft. area. Can be used single layer, dual layer for 0.8 mg/cm applications, and triple layer for 1.2 mg/cm2 applications. Typically used for gas flow proportional and scintillation probes. All items are not surplus, or surplus pulls, but from radiation safety, health physics consultant who is retiring.
