The Eberline ASP-1 is a 6mHz microprocessor based instrument fully digital with a digital to analog converter which drives the meter display. Super wide counting range with 6 decades. The meter itself is a gold vein suspension or taut band which is internally temperature compensated. This instrument can be whatever you want it to be it can be set for CPM, CPS, mR/hr. microR/Hr, rem/Hr, uSv/min, etc. By selecting the decade disc to display 6 consecutive units displayed in the window X.001, X.01, X.1, X1, X10, X100, X1K, X10K, X100K, X1M, and X10M. Total usable range for counting up to 10,000,000 10 million scintillation to 3 million at that rate most scintillators will be saturated but beyond that it is usable to 10 million for the integrate function. When the computer determines the saturation point has been reached it will emit loud beeping from the speaker and wag the needle back and forth turn off and back on to clear. The integrate function is like a scalar function used for dose rate measurement which is settable per minute or per hour and will display of units the instrument is set fore IE CPM mR/hr and so on. Sensitivity adjustable from 1 to 50 mV has both gain and threshold adjustments. High voltage 300-2,500 Volts is displayed directly on the self contained voltage scale of the meter. Audio divide can be set for 1 in 1, 16, 64, and 256 clicks. ( the best thing since sliced bread for scintillation counting with high rates of pulses reduced to a few clicks like a slow metronome you can instantly hear a change in tempo when detection is made. ) Also dead time correction of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 128  micro Sec. can be combined to add up to the  desired total. Built in back light for meter dial for low lighting situations. Powered by 6 C size 1.5 Volt batteries which are included. CURRENT SETTINGS for use with big scintillation probes. CPM decades 100 through 10M, input 10 mille Volts, high voltage 900 Volts all dead time switches are currently not set all off FULLY CALIBRATED at 2 points ON ALL  6 DECADES AS WELL AS High VOLTAGE METER. Ready for your scintillator just set proper voltage and dead time correction if desired. Probes that can be used small low energy scintillators to gigantic scintillators, Geiger Muller tubes from 300 Volts up including Russian and military, air and gas proportional requires setting threshold down to 1mV and high voltages usually between 1,900 to 2,200 Volts. I am including a new coil cord usable on both MHV and BNC connectors the instrument is MHV a  $25.00 value but no scintillator probe you probably have one or more and the price would increase a lot. Un like other instruments this one has the smarts built in no need for expensive smart probe adaptors and no slow LCD response sample then display to slow it down. P.S. the small holes in the bottom are for a bracket that allows a large scintillator to be attached and removed I don't have the attaching part that slings it from the bottom but will included the base mounting for it I will send the users manual in PDF format which contains everything from theory of operation, schematics, parts list, calibration instructions, set up information for various probes and displays.
