The ECG J-035 Battery Powered Portable Soldering Iron is perfect for portable applications. Economically priced, battery powered, lightweight portable soldering iron that is ideal for repairs where a corded iron is not useable.  Applications include automotive, electronic, field service, marine, telecom, etc. Provides the equivalent of a 9 watt iron at +896deg.F (+480deg.C), can solder up to 160 joints and run approximately on fully charged batteries  (requires 3 "AA" batteries, not included).
