Echols Microflake II Cube Ice Shaver model 702. Made in the USA. Microflake cube ice shaver finely shaves ice cubes into the consistency of snow. Hardened 440A stainless steel blade is easily adjustable for fine or extremely fine consistency and texture. Durable cast aluminum body with an ABS plastic outer cover for easy cleaning and durability. High efficiency heavy-duty 1/4 HP motor uses less power while still shaving up to 300-lbs of product each hour. This ice shaver began it's life a creme white and has aged into a custard color. The pictures show the "age tan". Don't be afraid of the darkening of the ABS cover, it's solid, not crumbling or fragile. The serial number begins with 90 which is likely the year of manufacture. ABS covers in very good condition, no cracks or breaks, just the aging color and minor handling scratches. Shaving blade in excellent condition not corroded and very sharp. Machine works flawlessly in a test run shaving the ice in a variable size from what you would see in a snow cone to snowflake size. The picture of the ice shavings is of the other machine, thus the color difference, but performance was identical. There were 2 of these ice shavers and the other one sold. This one is a bit darker than the other, does not have a "custom cut" to the ice chute, and has the drain hose included and attached. Base and housing is cast aluminum with 4 adjustable vibration absorbing feet. Dimensions: 19" W x 15” D x 21" H. Electrical 115 Volts, 60 hz., 3.5 amps. From the estate of a family member who collected many things he did not use and a lot he used very little. This was kept at a vacation home for a period of time and hasn't been used for several years until I cleaned and tested it.
