Recyclers Powerful Commercial/Industrial Neodymium magnet N52. Part#TI218 This is a powerful 1/2" x 1/2" N52 27lb pull force neodymium magnet encased in Grade 5 Titanium. It comes with an split ring for attaching wire, rope or fishing line. These are machined from a solid rod of Grade 5 Titanium. Grade 5 titanium is a very strong, light and excellent corrosion resistance and definitly cost a lot more than aluminum, requires stronger and very sharp tooling for machining which is reflected in the price, but will far outlast aluminum. Titanium can be anodized in a wide range of colors. The color in this auction is a 2 tone color of blue and gold. The Dime in the picture isn't included, it's for size comparison. Grade 5, also known as Ti6Al4V, Ti-6Al-4V or Ti 6-4.
