Edhard P-Series Power Base, Model MK, Item # P4010 Dimension Volts, Watts, Hz HP 15.4"W x 9"D x 6.75"H 120V, 20W, 60Hz 0.027 Edhard's Power Base is a cream-colored unit that houses electronics and a motor. It engages the Filler Unit and makes it dispense your food product. The keypad controls the amount of product dispensed, and the cycle type. The P4010 power base has a 1/37HP motor. Reliable and durable, it is engineered for years of maintenance-free service. The exterior is designed so that merely a damp cloth is needed to keep it clean. This base has a number of features that make it useful in a wide variety of applications. They include: Normal Cycling, Reverse, Automatic Cycling and Continuous Dispensing (all these terms defined below), which can be selected at the keypad. The motor of P-Series units (including P4010) has enough power to dispense batters, cottage cheese, creams, custard, jelly, ketchup, mustard, pudding and yogurt. The F-Series filler units (including F5001 and F5007) are suited for P-Series power bases (including P4010). Normal Cycle: The amount of product to be dispensed can be preset at the digital keypad. As the trip arm is pressed, the unit will cycle once to dispense the preset amount, then stop and reverse. Reverse: The reverse is needed to pull product back after a dispensing cycle is completed, which prevents dripping. Reverse can be adjusted to meet specific requirements. Automatic Cycle: This function eliminates the need to continually press the trip arm during multi-cycle applications. In ths function, the amount dispensed and waiting time can be set to suit a specific need. Automatic cycling eliminates operator fatigue and improves productivity in repetetive, long-running jobs. Continuous Dispensing: When selecting this function, the operator or a remote-triggering device, such as a photoelectric switch, determines the start and stop of the pumping action. This function is useful when a continuous stream of product is deposited on a conveyor or manually via a hose attachment. The power base can be triggered manually by its trigger switch or your own photoelectric switch.
