Edvotek S-42-20 DNA GelSizer for 2 Gels and 2 Images Product Description Students will learn to size DNA fragments separated by agarose gel electrophoresis. Contains six clear reusable gel grids imprinted with a ruler for sizing DNA fragments. In addition, six simulated gel imprints (3 each) for two experiments; 1) A.P. restriction enzyme digestion, 2) DNA fingerprinting are included. The first set of three are imprints of agarose electrophoresis gels stained with flash blue and the second set with Ethidium Bromide. This experiment can serve as a dry exercise for quantitative DNA sizing from agarose gels or as a primer for an actual gel experiments.
