Demo EFI ES-2000 x-rite i1 Pro revision E UV-cut spectrometer/spectrophotometer/densitometer with license for Color Profiler Suite 4.x Serial number is 7009721 Please note that this spectrometer is licensed and works with Color Profiler Suite software 4.0 through 4.5: if you want to use it with the later versions such as 4.6 or 4.8, you would have to renew/purchase the SMSA (software maintenance and support agreement) contract from EFI. This ES-2000 is a demo unit, lamp burning time is 1524.4 seconds (25 minutes) which was used for a few demos to a potential customers and to test it with i1 and CPS software: see the pictures and the log file. It is licensed for use with CPS versions 4.x, 3.x and 2.x: see the screenshots of the EFI activation page; retail price for the ES-2000 plus CPS 4 software is $3,300 (as you probably know and it is even more expensive in Europe), here is the link to EFI website: http://www.efi.com/products/fiery-servers-and-software/fiery-workflow-suite/fiery-color-profiler-suite/overview/ The license alone for CPS 4.5 is worth $2,300, but you will also get the ES-2000 spectrometer which retails for $1,300. Spectrophotometer is almost mandatory if you are using any Fiery driven copiers/printers regardless of the manufacturer (Konica Minolta, Canon, Toshiba, Xerox, HP, Ricoh, Sharp etc.) since the color deviates from use and you could be getting cyan/magenta/yellow hue on the prints; calibration is very easy, should be done every 1-4 weeks (depending on the printer usage) and takes less than 5 minutes. You would just open Command Work Station software (free download from EFI), connect to your machine, plug the spectrometer to USB port, click 'calibrate', print the c/m/y/k test page, scan the bars and click 'apply'. ES-2000 is 100% backwards compatible with any software or a Fiery print controllers that worked with ES-1000, but it provides better color accuracy and a few other options. You can download the Color Profiler Suite 4.5 from EFI website, just have to put in your info: http://www.efi.com/support-and-downloads/download-center/?type=apps&oem=efi&sid=FieryColorProfilerSuite&model=287~v4.5.2.12&os= and run it in demo mode, once a licensed spectrometer (such as this one) is connected to USB port, the software becomes fully functional (see the screenshot).
