The EG&G/ORTEC T105/N Dual Discriminator is an extremely stable, direct-coupled, general-purpose leading edge discriminator capable of processing input signals of frequencies upto 150 MHz.  Each T105/N module contains two independent and identical discriminator circuits. A major feature of this unit is that only one ouptut pulse is produced for each threshold crossing, irrespective of input pulse width.  This feature is provided without compromising the inherent advantages of the cable delay technique:  extremely stable output pulse widths virtually unaffected by temperature and input signal frquencies, and a duty cycle that does not exceed 50%. A gate switch allows each discriminator to be gated by the commom bin gating line  The two dual outputs, with one dual complementary output, in each section provide for a high fanout. Notes:     Not mentioned in the manual is the requirement that at least one output of     each pair (A or B),( /A or /B), and (C or D)  MUST be connected to a 50 ohm     terminator or a 50 ohm cable terminated into 50 ohms for proper operation..     This module was manufactured by EG&G, NOT EG&G/Ortec, and differs     in that there is NO rear panel Gate Input BNC.     This module also does NOT have the panel screw fasteners.
