Here is a repaired, calibrated, tested and fully working EICO 628 tube tester.  Overall it is in pretty good condition.  The meter lens has a chip in the bottom right corner.  The rotary knobs are new and not original EICO parts.  Please see the pics. This tester is shown testing several tubes in the pictures.  (The tubes are for demo only and are not included in this sale.)  One of the pictures shows a 9-pin miniature under test.  This tube is weak and leaky.  The tester properly detects these problems.  The other two tubes are good and test accordingly.  (The voltage regulator tube is good with a reading above 20.) This tester will test most "modern" consumer vacuum tubes post WWII.  It has sockets for testing Audio, Rock 'n Roll, TV, Color TV and Amateur Radio tubes including Compactron horizontal sweep output tubes as sometimes used in RF Linear Amplifiers.  In addition to Octals, Loctals, 7-pin miniatures, 9-pin miniatures, Compactrons and Novars, it can test 5- and 7-pin Nuvistors and 9+1 miniature Decars.  That's a lot of tubes.  The EICO 628 can test antique radio and audio tubes, but requires an adapter for the antique sockets. All the switches and controls work well, the sockets are very good, Lights are bright, and the meter is smooth and repeatable.  The case and handle are solid.  The case has some wear and tarnish from use and age. Unit might be shipped by FedEx, UPS or US Mail depending on your location.  The quoted shipping cost won't be exceeded. PLEASE NOTE:  Everything works and I guarantee my testers for US sales.  This item is also available for international sale.  Because of the high cost of international shipping, all sales outside of the US are on an AS-IS basis.  I will accept international returns.  Buyer pays return shipping and original shipping & customs cost is not refundable.  However if there is something wrong with the unit on receipt, there is no warranty outside the US.  I will provide support via email or messaging in English as needed to help you correct the problem.  You will need to know English and have some basic electronic tech skills like soldering and using a meter.
