Vintage Eico 950B Resistance / Capacitance-Comparator Bridge Works great, Excellent physical condition and this unit is a super cool tester. Magic Eye tube very bright (see pic) · Employs an electron-ray ("magic eye") tube as a visual null indicator. Highly flexible AC-powered bridge which measures : Capacitance in the range from 10 mmf to 5000 mf Resistance from 0.5 ohms to 500 M ohms on direct reading scales, Measurement of resistance, capacitance, and inductance by comparison with an external complementary standard is also possible, in which case a special ratio scale is read. Dual-sensitiviy leakage test employing a built-in source of polarizing voltage, continuously variable from 0 to 500 volts dc. The high sensitivity leakage test is used for testing paper, mica, and ceramic capacitors The low sensitivity test is for electrolytic capacitors. The electron ray tube is the leakage indicator in both tests.
