EKSPLA TK1 Temperature Controller For sale- an EKSPLA TK1 Temperature Controller. EKSPLA products seem to be sold through EKSMA. Their website also refers to the piece as a thermocontroller and the manual I have for it calls it a Precision Resistive Heater Controller. More specs and info available here on their website, including the price of a new one at $960. Please note the cosmetic difference between the TK1 I am offering and the one on the EKSMA website. So I can’t say for sure they are the identical piece. The EKSPLA website pairs the TK1 with a KK1 oven and that is the oven mentioned in the manual that I have. However, the EKSMA website does not show a KK1, all of the ovens shown there have a C01 or CO1 prefix, with the rest dependent on the size of the crystal you are trying to grow. Also please note that NO oven is being offered here, just the controller. As the ovens appear to be readily available the only real question is whether this controller will work with them. I leave that for you to determine before you buy. Powers up as you can see and after I had been pushing the buttons a bit it started flashing the four displays you see, - - - -, -6.7, 178.1, and 81.0, in sequence. Not sure what to make of that or even what I pushed in the way of buttons to get that to happen. If I then pushed the SEL button the display goes to iSHO or something to that effect. Possibly something is lost in the translation from Lithuanian. That is the extent of my testing and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
