Electric Dehorner X50A with Soldering Tip RhinehartThis Dehorner normally is sold for $120.00 to $130.00. Brand New never been used on any animal Commercial Grade Dehorner! This dehorner also has a soldering setting. Youll have to purchase the soldering tip adapter. Automatic heat control maintains heat at 1,000° for fast, easy use. No blood loss or open wound. Perforated housing keeps handle cool. 110 volt AC with 3 wire grounded cord. Not recommended for small calves unless you have the small tip adapter. This unit is being auctioned with the small adapter tip and hardware to install the tip Normally a $20.00-$25.00 value .375 Pygmy Adapter Tip Included Tips            dimensions: 3/4" I.D., 1-1/2" O.D., 1-1/2" overall depth                            .375 Pygmy Adapter Tip • Length: 9-1/2" • Watts: 265 • Power current: 110/120V The Rhinehart Electric Dehorner will do a good dehorning job on any calf that does not have a horn larger at the base that the inside of the Dehorning ring (7/8 in to 5/8 in tapered inside diameter.) Dehorning should be done as soon as the horn button can be located. The younger the calf, the less effort and time required for a good dehorning job. A) The Dehorner should be applied for at least 10 seconds to make sure ALL horn cells in hair line around the horn base are killed. B) A dry scab will form over the seared area. The scab and horn button will later drop off. This will take several weeks. Let it heal off - don't pull it off. C) Electric dehorning is preferred over other methods. It is safe, fast and efficient.
