Electric Motor. 1/4 HP. 90 Volt Direct Current. Variable Speed. Nominal Speed =1,800 RPM. Permanent Magnet. Made by Pacific Scientific in the USA. Shaft = 5/8" x 2". Overall length = 11.5". Major Diameter = 5-1/8". Amps = 2.5. Drilled and tapped for OEM or aftermarket base. Last two. I had 20+ of these, all previous ones sold in the $52.00 ~ $70.00 range. Paint on last two had some chips & scratches, therefore I carefully cleaned, prepped, and painted it [ using Rustoleum's new hammered enamel in titanium color]. Background. This motor was removed from obsolescent medical equuipment such as CT scanners, MRI machines, stress-test treadmills, etc. that were replaced by newest models. As such, it was probably over-engineered, and it was operated in a clean environment and well maintained. BUT, because it was not handled carefully by the dismantling crew, it has/had some cosmetic dings and scratches. I do not have a dynomometer on which to test this motor, but I have connected it to a Minarik drive, and verified that it runs smoothly and quietly in both directions, ramps up and ramps down smoothly, etc. Guarantee: If buyer is not satisfied that this item is as good as described and photographed in this ad, he/she is invited to return it undamaged, and I will promptly refund the purchase price plus shipping one way. No quibbling. Period. Shipping and handling: Buyer pays basic shipping cost, and I will pay for the insurance while enroute. I do not charge any type of packing or handling fees. Any overpayment will be promptly refunded. Application: FYI, on my machines, I use the Minarik Model MM23001C AC-to-DC drive, which is available from multiple web sources in the $75 range. A typical ad reads as follows "Adjustable SCR speed controller for permanent magnet or shunt wound, brush type motors. Integral potentiometers for setting minimum and maximum speed, acceleration and deceleration, torque and IR compensation. Speed control potentiometer included."
