High temperature electric muffle furnace for melting metals, fusing ceramics, etc. Oven cavity (id) is 9 x 4 1/2 x 4 inches (inside) and 11 X 16 X 16 inches outside. Max temp 1200 C or 2200 F. Operates on 110 volts. Used in fair/good condition. The last metal melted in this unit was silver scrap with a melting point of 9610 C. Face of furnace has on/off switch, pilot light, timer and temperature scale. The front door contains a counter weight for easy opening. Made in Dubuque, IA. by Thermolyne.   Seller has physical limitations so buyer must be able to pick up in Rochelle, IL.
