Electric vacuum pick and place tool with foot control Suction pen for SMD / SMT soldering works This is a tool that could save you a lot of time and effort if you are working with SMD / SMT soldering works. It picks and places tiny objects as small as 0402 and as large as TQFP-100 and up. It is built from a vibration vacuum pump , which run on 120V AC, 2W. The pump is connected with the suction pen via a very flexible silicone tube ( 6 ft long ) , and the foot control via a 2ft long silicone tube. To pick an object, simply use your foot ( thumb toe, or rubbery flat bottom portion of the shoe you are wearing ) to block the top hole of the foot control. To release, simply unblock the hole. The foot control makes it easy to precisely control the drop off position of the picked object. It also offers problem free releasing the object, under all situations . ( You don't need the vacuum control dial like other products on the market do, which use a small hole on the pen to control the pick and place ) The tool includes the following nozzles for picking up objects with different sizes and weights . Make sure you use the appropriate nozzle to do the work : Never use a nozzle with an inner diameter larger than the size of your object ! ( If you don't want to lose the object, or to clog the nozzle ) 23G blunt needle ( orange ) : 13 mils ID ( 1mil = 0.001" ) , 25 mils OD , for SMD size 0402 and up. 20G blunt needle ( Pink ) : 24 mils ID , 36 mils OD , for SMD size 0603 and up. 17G blunt needle ( Metallic) : 42 mils ID, 60 mils OD , for larger and heavier components, works with the 2 included rubbery suction cups, either end of the cups can be used to pick up objects, simply insert the needle half way through the sleeve of the cups.
