This enclosure has a Opaque hinge cover as seen in first picture. We have the same enclosure with clear cover. Polycarbonate is a super tough plastic used in a variety of industrial and military applications - these are true polycarbonate, not a blend. Polycarbonate is ideal for use in corrosion subjected areas and outdoors for a fraction of the cost of stainless steel.
