Technical Product Bulletin Electrically conductive Graphite Powder Wide Surface Coating Applications For more information, call (888) 522-6742 we are available 24/7 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: AA-CONDUCTIVE GRAPHITE is a naturally occurring form of graphite that is typically found as discrete flakes ranging in size from 50-800 micrometers in  diameter and 1-150 micrometers thick. This form of graphite has a high degree of crystallinity, which equates to near theoretical true density, high thermal  and electric conductivity, and excellent molding characteristics. AA-CONDUCTIVE GRAPHITE is used in many applications including but not limited to powder metallurgy, fuel cell bi-polar plates, coatings, thermal  materials, friction moderators, electrically conductive materials, refractories, general lubricant applications, pencils, gaskets, rubber compounds, and other  advanced polymer systems. Commercial grades are available in purities ranging from 80-99.9% carbon, and sizes from 2-800 microns. AA-GRAPHITE GRAPHITE is made nearly totally of carbon atoms, and as with diamond, is a semimetal native component mineral, and an allotrope of carbon.  AA-GRAPHITE GRAPHITE is the most stable form of carbon under standard conditions. For this reason, it is used in thermochemistry as the standard state for  defining the heat of formation of carbon compounds. AA-GRAPHITE GRAPHITE may be considered the highest grade of coal, just above anthracite and  alternatively called meta-anthracite, although it is not normally used as fuel because it is difficult to ignite.    PRODUCT INFORMATION: % CARBON (LOI) 96 Min   -   100 Max % MOISTURE                      0.5 Max % - 325 MESH (44 Micron) 99.5 Min - 100 Max MT %50 (Microns) 9 Min           14 Max  TYPICAL ANALYSIS: % CARBON (LOI) 96.8 % MOISTURE 0.34 % - 325 MESH (44 Micron) 99.87 MT %50 (Microns) 10.2  TEST METHODS: CARB E4-1 MOIST E4-7 MT E3-5B SA E3-6 SC E2-3   GENERAL INFORMATION: For safe handling information on this product, consult the Material Safety Data Sheet, (MSDS).
