This is an excellent source book for vacuum tube technology just after WWII: Electronics for Industry by W. I. Bendz. Bendz was an employee of Westinghouse Electric Corp., Boston, and inscribed the book to its previous owner (see photo). It provides detailed technical information on many industrial applications of electronics, and includes photos of equipment, circuit diagrams, tables, and graphs. Approx. 6" x 8 1/2 ", 501 pages. The book is in good overall condition: The binding is solid. The cover is worn, and has some small stains (see photo). It includes a bookplate on the inside front cover, and an inscription by author (Bendz) on the first flyleaf. There is some pencil writing on one edge (the letters "MEG", whatever that may mean) but there are no internal marks or highlighting (other than the bookplate and inscription). The pages are lightly and uniformly yellowed, consistent with the age of the book. This is a very collectable book that is also a useful reference for the vacuum tube era. If you have questions, please ask before bidding.
Seller Notes Good overall condition. Binding is solid. The cover is worn, and has some small stains. Bookplate and inscription by author, writing on on edge, but no other internal marks or highlighting. Some yellowing of pages.
