I bought this (16 years ago!) with the intention of starting a laser service business (that I never kicked off). In a separate auction, I'm selling a new Ophir power meter for the same reason. The only time this IR viewer has ever been out of the case and turned was for these pictures. It was the best handheld viewer at the time, and near as I can tell still is. It's just like new, comes with all documentation from Ophir, and is NOT a second or refurb. I could only find one site that listed a price ($1690 and the case is extra - but included here): https://www.rli.com/Products/Product.aspx?idproduct=277. The others I found just said "Call for Price." You can Google the sales brochure and FAQ page for this device or I can email it to you. Technical description I Googled-up today: The ElectroViewer is a premium hand-held infrared image converter viewer designed for the observation of near-infrared sources that radiate from 0.6-1.3 µm (as well as higher power densities up to wavelengths of 1.55 µm.) This model is designed to produce very high resolution images in the center of the field allowing the user to effectively view very small details. Ideal for indirect viewing of laser beams in the near infrared spectrum where the eye has no response. The ElectroViewer 7215 sets new standards with an image that is sharp and in-focus "edge to edge". The brightest image available today, the hand held viewer is designed for observation of near-IR sources from 0.4-1.3 microns. Because of its spectral response, the 7215 is ideal for viewing and aligning laser beams and stray reflections (for such lasers as GaAs laser diodes @800-950 nm, Nd:YAG @1060 nm, GaAlAs @1350 nm). An extended range 7215P is available for observation in the 0.4 - 1.5 micron range. Specifications Spectral sensitivity ( S1 photocathode 17mmOD ):   7215 - 0.4 to 1.3 microns   7215P - selected to detect 20mW/cm2 @1.3 microns and 50mW/cm2 @1.5 microns Output Fluorescent Screen: P-20 Phosphor ( 6.8mmOD ) Center resolution: Greater than 80 lp/mm Active area: 12mm diameter circular area Object Distance ( w/25mm lens ): 3"-to-infinity Field-of-view: 40 degrees ( w/ 25mm lens ) Battery life: 100 hours ( typical ) Dimensions: 3.25" x 3.25" x 2.25" ( 8cm x 8cm x 6cm ) Weight: 1.25 lb. ( 570g ) Mounts:   1.0"-32 lens C-mount thread   1/4"-20 UNC-2B tripod mount base Thank you and all the best.
