The CIM Maxima 861 Card Embossing Machine is perfect for making your own Membership cards, ID Cards, Private Club cards, Associations, and whatever one would like to do with them. This machine was previously utilized for a small business membership association, and our members first and last names, as well as their company names and membership numbers and exp. dates were printed on our personally designed cards. The machine was very fun to work with personally, runs very well and is very reliable. Now that we have our procurement and fulfillment done with another company instead of in-house, the machine is up for grabs. Normally, a base-model CIM Maxima 861 retails for around $12,500 with no upgrades, and with upgrades- like the smart card programmers and the magnetic card programmer- those extras can be added for another $3K or more. This CIM Maxima 861 Card Embossing Machine is the base model and does not included the Magnetic Card programming upgrades used for credit cards, etc., and does not have the Smart Card chip programming upgrades either. It's purely for embossing data and has the silver-tip heated card embossing dipper instead. The upgrades can be purchased thru web dot "cim-usa" dot com and click on their Contact page to learn about all the upgrades and pricing that they have available. The Secure Embossing software (not included), including the support and embossing layout options are sold separately thru web dot "cim-usa" dot com too. The software usually sells for around $700 bucks, once purchased, the software itself is fully supported and customizable and comes with a secure USB stick that allows it to only run on one Windows computer. Cim-USA sells any needed upgrades for cords too, such as the DB-9 to USB connectors for example. The items included: a power cord, a DB-9 connector cord, a DVD with all the needed links for support, links to buying the software and upgrades, and a key to the machine's lid. It is in Mint Condition and is cosmetically in very good shape. For the shipping, buyer pays shipping costs. The highly recommended way of shipping the machine is Crated on top of a Pallet Base. When I talked to web dot "cim-usa" dot com, they highly suggested that this is the way to go to fully avoid potential damage to the Embosser, as the best and safest way to have it shipped. The carriers suggested are folks like: R&L Carriers, Conway, Estates, Roadway, United and Mayflower for example. It was noted that the Maxima 861 comes from the factory in a 43inx28inx27in Crate @ 168 lbs. Crated. The machine needs to be well padded and strapped inside the Crate. Most LTL services ("less than trailer load") can provide for that. The carrier that's closest to my 92027 USA Zip Code location is R&L Carriers: web dot "rlcarriers" dot com and they can come to my place of residence and pick up the machine and securely and safely deliver it to you.
