Embroidery machine: The Pfaff 7550 is  produced in Germany.  It is heavy duty, precision and an amazing sewing machine to use. This machine features the DUAL FEED (IDT) system that Pfaff is known for.   The Pfaff 7550 has 229 stitches, sensor buttonholes in many styles and a multi directional feeding system, which will produce patterns up to 60mm wide! The Pfaff 7550 has a smoothness and precision not found in current sewing machines. It has a free arm and a high speed, industrial rotary hook system for perfect stitch quality. Tensions are stable and reliable thanks to the all metal hook and the advanced, universal tension system on the upper tension.  This machine is wonderful for the quilter as it offers 19 needle postions and a 9mm stitch width. The stitch is very strong, straight and precise.  There is also a wonderful selection of stitches for the quilter including blanket stitches, stippling stitch, invisible applique’ stitch and a “hand” quilting stitch.  Pfaff built this machine with heavy duty expectations and the 7550 has proven worthy of the Pfaff name. The high speed industrial rotary hook system offers consistent quality, the IDT dual feeding system will feed the fabric with absolute precision and accuracy.  Other features such as Low bobbin warning, needle stop up/down, pattern start, instant and continuous reverse prove to the user that even in 1993, Pfaff was ahead of their time in technology and timeless innovation.  Included with this listing are the following: bobbin Foot control and cord Instruction books for machine  Embroidery templates Extra feet Carrying case  Other features on the 7550: 16 built in memory files which will remain in storage after machine is shut down 16 Programmable memory files which will remain in storage after machine is shut down Maxi Stitches Mirror image-4ways (north, south, east, west) Pattern start/begin Sew slow button Needle stop up/down Low bobbin monitor Tie off button  Purchase price for this machine ran about $4800
