All spindle speed variations work, axis feed rates, and tool positions. All axis's drive smoothly throughout the whole beds and are accurate. Manuals; Lots of software manuals, machine manuals, guides, electrical diagrams can be downloaded from the web or bought online. Anybody can learn to use this with all the online educational manuals. WinCam guide, Fanuc O guide and machine manuals can be found online if buyer is patient to search and find them. Video shows this machine making a nice thread using 3/8" aluminum through spindle. Will included the tools in the pictures. Chuck key and cut and thread tools seem to be present but we really don't know their names, please look and check the pictures to see if they are included. If you recognize them in the pictures, then they are included. Machine comes with all you see in the pictures. We are not specialists on these units but below are specs everyone asks about and we found online, we do not know nor have knowledge about this but here's what the experts say about these units: Hole through spindle, ~ 5/8"(.6299") Biggest work piece. Length over 8", Diameter read below; Swing over bed is 5", this means a 5" diameter will fit without hitting the bed of unit. But your tool turret(x) wont swing that with external tools. Depending what external tools you need or how they are inserted you can turn 2.25"-3.15" diameter. You could be less if your using big tools. You can use 1/2" external tools. Encoder on spindle that makes threading possible. Closed loop system. Everything still supported by Emco, parts and software. Using other programs for g-code. The best way to do this is to setup machine profile in bobcad(or software of choice) from another pc running higher OS. Make your program and output the g-code to flash drive. Create a program in WinNC, open file with word pad, copy and paste your g-code. We can hold .0005" tolerances. We have used lots of plastics, aluminum, steal and stainless steel on these lathes. Windows 98 is the highest windows PC operating system that will work with Emco's software. PCs are reliable and fast for running Emco's programs. This is required since the OS can not be upgraded. It is then connected the mill via a cable. The other fun part is you need an old PC nothing new will do. As to converting to mach 3, it is pretty straight forward. There is not intricate electrical design needed just some mechanical work and electrical wiring and soldering. - This unit is in good physical condition with some cosmetic signs of use present, as pictured...overall, unit is clean and free of structural damage- Unit is in great working order...no functionality issues to report except the fact that there is no ISA card nor software included in this listing. - Auction includes the mill and power cable...spindle shaft, tool holder bits, manual, computer or software are not included...
