This auction is for an EMCO Inline Vortex Meter Model HF1200-10-1-1-2-1-S. This meter fits a 1" water line. The meter is brand new and has not been used before. Comes in its original box with all paperwork (calibration certificate). The last photo (sorry it is a little blurry) describes this meter's suffix codes as noted in the auction title and seen in some of the photos: 10 references a 1 inch line size The first 1 indicates a brass connection The second 1 indicates the output is pulse (max 200 Hz) The 2 indicates the display is rate total display The third 1 indicates the measuring unit is English Understanding Vortex Flow Meters Vortex shedding flow meters measure flow by detecting the frequency at which vortices are alternately shed from a bluff body. The vortices create low and high pressure zones behind the bluff body which are detected as a force acting on the sensor wing. This force is transmitted through the sensor wing to the Hydro-Flow piezo-resistive sensor mounted inside the flow line. Hydro-Flow's unique and proprietary microprocessor-based piezo-resistive sensor can accurately and reliably process vortex signals 25 times smaller than permitted by other technologies.
